2/18/10 Joy about 40
I met Marty (church elder) after a meeting at his office and we went grocery store fishing. We used million dollar tracts as conversation starters but the "fish" weren't biting. We did have a couple good conversations with believers, one of whom was Joy, an Asian woman who, as it turns out, had visited our church on a Sunday when Marty was preaching. We had a good, uplifting and encouraging time of fellowship and ended with a short and simple prayer with Joy for her husband Tony who is going through some spiritual struggles. Afterward Marty commented, "Praying with people right there in the grocery store - how cool is that?"
