Hello! Just wanted to let you know that I love your blog and I often pray for the people that you've met. Keep up the amazing work!
Also, I wanted to share a little story with you. My husband, Terry, and I are both the only Christians in our families. Today we were hanging out with Terry's folks and his grandmother, Trudy, started a conversation by asking us about the church we've been going to. One thing led to another and we ended up talking about Jesus for a little bit. At one point Trudy admitted (we didn't ask her mind you, she just said it) "Maybe I'll get to see Jesus when I die. I don't know. I don't know if there's really a way to be sure." It was the first time I've ever heard her talk about such things! Anyway, when all was said and done, Terry ended up giving her our copy of "Letters from a Skeptic". She was very surprised, but thankful for the gift. Please help us pray that she actually reads it and that this little seed grows! She was raised Catholic and still adheres to several traditions, but never had any faith behind the actions. There's a picture of Jesus and a crucifix in her home, but they've never held any meaning for her. (We know because we asked.) She's in her 80's and has many health problems. It's our wish that God will work on her heart quickly so that she can be saved before her time is up!
Would you consider mentioning this story in your blog? We need as many prayer warriors as we can get! Thank you!
