3/16/12     Picha, Richard, and Hannibal      -college students
We have the world at our doorstep! I've been reminded of this in the last few days as I've talked with two young men from China, a Mexican immigrant and his half-German girlfriend from Paraguay, and then yesterday as Micah and I spoke with two young men from Nigeria and a diverse group of three friends including a young lady named Picha who described herself as culturally Hindu and who is from India; her friend Richard who is from Poland and said he grew up Catholic, and Hannibal, who grew up in Mississippi but came from Belize. I had talked to Hannibal half a year ago when he claimed to be an agnostic and it was encouraging that now he considers himself a Christian. He welcomed the conversation with his international friends and took the opportunity to tell about his own faith. Those of us who want to bring Jesus to the nations and diverse peoples of the world can't ignore the fact that many people of these nations have come to us - and if we aren't faithful with the opportunity right in front of us we probably won't be given any others. "You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord." Matt.25:23.
